Northeastern ITS is working hard to give you even easier access to your HuskyMail account. We have integrated HuskyMail with the myNortheastern portal to provide students with immediate access to their email right from the homepage on the portal.

Access HuskyMail From the MyNortheastern Homepage

On myNortheastern, your inbox is located on the home screen. Once you log in to myNortheastern, you have access to your email — no additional usernames or passwords needed (initial authentication is needed).

Using the web

To use your Husky Mail directly on the web, you can go to http://mail.husky.neu.edu or https://gmail.com

If you’re using Gmail: start with your email address ending with @husky.neu.edu. After you are redirected to the Northeastern Single Sign-On (SSO), log in with your myNortheastern credentials.

Connecting your account to your mobile device or Mac

Since Husky Mail is hosted by Google, so it works the same as gmail. You should be able to easily add your account to your device if your using a current version of Android, IOS or macOS. When choosing an account type, select Google. Start with your email address ending with @husky.neu.edu. After you are redirected to the NEU single sign on, log in with your myNortheastern credentials.

Having trouble connecting or using Outlook?

Due to security, Google accounts won’t automatically connect to all apps. A list on “less secure apps” and steps on how to connect to them can be found here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en
