When you are connecting a mobile device (iOS or Android) for the first time:

With Wi-Fi turned on, select “NUwave” from the available networks list.


  • Do NOT select NUwave-guest if it appears – that network is unsecured and is only for visitors to Northeastern.
  • Do NOT select NURes-Device if it appears – that network is specifically for devices that do not support 802.1x and are not able to connect to NUwave.

When the prompt comes up, sign in using your myNortheastern login and password.

Accept the certificate and finish authentication.

At this point, you should be connected. And whenever your computer detects NUwave, you will be able to connect automatically.
