How To: Connect to NUwave on OS X

On the Mac OS X desktop, click the wireless icon on the upper right hand side of the screen. Click “NUwave” from the menu that appears.

NOTE:

  • Do NOT select NUwave-guest if it appears – that network is unsecured and is only for visitors to Northeastern.
  • Do NOT select NURes-Device if it appears – that network is specifically for devices that do not support 802.1x and are not able to connect to NUwave.

In the expanded window, verify that it says it is from “wireless.northeastern.edu” and that the certificate is selected.

At this point, you should be connected. And whenever your computer detects NUwave, you will be able to connect automatically.

If you cannot connect, or you have other problems, contact the ITS Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP) or help@northeastern.edu.
