How To: Connect to NUwave on Windows 7

Click the Network icon in your taskbar notification area.

In the network panel that comes up, click on NUwave. If it is available, make sure the “Connect automatically” box is checked. Then click Connect.

NOTE:

  • Do NOT select NUwave-guest if it appears – that network is unsecured and is only for visitors to Northeastern.
  • Do NOT select NURes-Device if it appears – that network is specifically for devices that do not support 802.1x and are not able to connect to NUwave.

In the expanded window, verify that it says it is from “wireless.northeastern.edu”

To finish, click Connect.

At this point, you should be connected. And whenever your computer detects NUwave, you will be able to connect automatically.

If you cannot connect, or you have other problems, contact the ITS Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP) or help@northeastern.edu.
