Capital Project Requests

Partnering on Digital Transformation

Submission Deadline: October 1, 2022

On behalf of the Office of the Chief Information Officer, the Information Technology Services (ITS) division is requesting submissions for FY24 IT capital project and/or new technology needs, as well as anticipated needs for FY25 and FY26. This new annual request and schedule will enable ITS and university leadership to appropriately prioritize project and technology requests required to meet the goals of your department and the institution, while also enabling ITS to build and maintain a more comprehensive multi-year capital plan.

New capital project requests flow through an annual planning process, in which departments submit ideas and then collaborate with members of the IT Services team to review business needs and begin to scope potential project plans, resource requirements, and schedule. The university’s IT Council (ITC), which provides oversight for agreed upon strategic projects in alignment with the university’s long-range plan, reviews and provides input to project requests submitted through this process.

Visit the Active Projects page for examples of ongoing IT project work.

The submission deadline for the FY24 planning cycle is October 1, 2022 (see detailed schedule below).
