The Research Computing Q&A Platform was officially launched on Tuesday, July 24 at a BoF at PEARC18! Many thanks to all of you for your help with getting the site off the ground!
However, we have one tiny detail that still needs to be decided…
What should we call it? “Research Computing Q&A Platform” is just too vanilla!
We decided to use the voting mechanism on the site to invite the community to help to decide this and created a question called “What’s in a Name?” where each answer is a different proposed name.
We invite you all to participate in the voting on the best name for the platform! Here’s how:
1) Visit the site
2) Scroll down to “What’s in a name?” (It is the first question listed)
3) Click on the up arrow next to the name you like best!(You will be prompted to log in or create an account if you don’t have one already)
It only takes a minute to create an account and vote! You can also suggest a new name by hitting “Answer” to the original question. Please visit the site to join the fun!
Voting closes on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 11:59PM, anywhere. We hope you will join the fun!
