Downloading VMware for Mac

VMware lets you run Windows on your Mac.

Step 1: Login to myNortheastern and navigate to the “Services & Links” tab. Search for “software” and click “Free and Discounted Software for your computer” next to the blue icon.

Step 2: Click the “Start Shopping” button. You may need to do this multiple times to get to the next screen. Then, click “VMware” in the menu below the search bar.

Step 3: Click on the “VMware Fusion 10.” It should be near the middle of the grid of products.

Step 4: Click “Add to Cart,” then “Check Out”. All Northeastern students get a free VMware Fusion 10 license, so you will not have to pay for the download.

Step 5: On the “Downloads” page, you will see VMware. Note the serial number, as you will lose access after 30 days. Then click the “Download” button. Once the download completes, you will be able to install VMware to run Windows on your Mac.
