Print Free For the First $120 of Academic Year Prints

The Northeastern Printing Plan annually provides a limited amount of free printing to students, faculty and staff.

At the start of the academic year members of the Northeastern community receive a $120 worth of printing credits on their Husky Cards that can be used at various color and black & white printers across campus. The non-refundable annual credit does not rollover from year to year, and when your balance hits $0.00 the printing system will default to using Husky Dollars.

All jobs sent to the printing queues are available to print for 24 hours. Cost is determined on a per page basis, and varies depending on the type of printer used and the size of the paper.

Based on their academic affiliation, eligible students may be able to use printers in the following restricted-access labs:

  • 107 and 109 Snell Library (classroom wing) – CPS Media Students only
  • 100, 204, 214 and 323 Knowles Center – School of Law only

Colleges and departments may have other printers available for student use, however these printers are not part of the Northeastern Printing Plan. The Ruggles Design Studio printers (Architecture students only, funded by Husky Dollars) utilizes the Northeastern Printing Plan Virtual Print Client in conjunction with an additional download. More information is available on the Printing page of the School of Architecture website.
