Information Technology Services provides technical support to enable the successful use of computer and presentation technologies.
Computer Technology Support – Support for student and Northeastern-managed computers.
ITS provides support for individual students’ desktops, laptops, and HuskyCable through the ResNet Resource Center. They also support the use of Northeastern applications and networks for mobile devices and gaming devices. Support for mobile hardware, gaming devices, and TVs is provided by the hardware vendors. Computer support includes hardware diagnosis and remediation, virus/malware removal, and both warranty and out-of-warranty computer repair.
Faculty and Staff can request support for university-purchased desktop and laptop computers, and network printers by contacting the ITS Service Desk. Service Desk Technicians diagnose problems, and recommend or perform tasks to restore technology operations. ITS also may assist you with computer equipment relocation or new desktop computer setups.
Classroom Technology Support – Any member of the Northeastern community may request audio-visual equipment at Northeastern University’s Boston campus for classroom use or within Snell Library. The ITS staff also offers individual technical assistance as needed, and conducts training sessions on the use of classroom technologies. Panoramic views and operating instructions for Boston campus classrooms are available under View the Classrooms on the myNortheastern portal.
Conference & Event Technology Support – ITS’ Conference and Event Support service includes technology support for many university-sponsored, non-classroom functions, such as meetings, seminars, and conferences on Northeastern’s main Boston campus.
