We’ve been listening! ITS is always seeking opportunities to better serve the Northeastern community’s technology needs. In alignment with this goal, the latest myNortheastern portal update from ITS directly results from our choice to use student feedback to guide our work.
The newest update includes a widget on the homepage titled “Snell Library,” which shares real-time, personalized details about your library account. The new portlet was created in collaboration with the library and ensures that current loans, due dates, and requests can be seen in one place, making it easier to keep track of your library activity and avoid late fees. Accessible on both desktop and mobile, this portlet also allows for more seamless searching of the Scholar OneSearch catalog, so that you can make better use of the library content available to you.
In an effort to continue enhancing your user experience, ITS plans to add even more functionality to the library portlet through future myNortheastern portal updates. Hang tight!
