Plan for Northeastern’s Retirement of Blackboard LMS

Northeastern’s Blackboard environment, the learning management system replaced by Canvas last year, will be retired on June 30, 2021. Until Blackboard’s retirement date, students can log in at to view and download content and data from past semesters’ Blackboard courses.

After June 30, access to materials and Blackboard assignment submissions will only be available upon request. Access to assignments submitted using third-party integrations (like TurnItIn) will not be available after the Blackboard retirement.
