Vice President for Information Technology at Northeastern University. In this new role, Meyer will report to the CIO and Vice President for Information Technology Cole W. Camplese, effective April 6, 2022.

As a member of the ITS Senior Leadership Team, Meyer will ensure that the voices, perspectives, and needs of all locations help guide the ITS roadmap and are top of mind among the other members of the leadership team. Meyer will develop and maintain a strong connection between all campus locations and the Office of the CIO, while effectively and clearly communicating the ongoing and evolving university digital strategy.

In this new role with Team ITS, I’m looking forward to establishing relationships across the university, bringing people together to help solve problems, and introducing new and exciting solutions at scale.

Meyer has spent over 13 years building relationships and solutions as a leader in higher education, and 16 years before that in private industry helping organizations develop digital solutions. For the past five years, he’s served as executive director, Academic Technology Solutions in IT Services at University of Chicago. At UChicago, Meyer collaborates with campus partners and faculty to set strategic leadership and direction for academic technologies and introduce tools and services that create heightened learning experiences for all.
