As part of ongoing efforts to celebrate and recognize great team members, the IT Leadership Team recently announced the promotion of Steve O’Brien to the role of director, Digital Studio and Web Solutions. This promotion recognizes Steve’s ongoing work and contributions to drive digital transformation across Northeastern. It also demonstrates ITS’s commitment to helping its most consistently high-performing team members continue to grow and thrive.
Steve O’Brien – Director, Digital Studio and Web Solutions
In his time on Team ITS dating back to July 2021, as both the d.Studio operations manager, and then as assistant director of d.Studio, Steve has helped lead significant and high-visibility digital initiatives for the global university. He’s been a leader in the development of the Global Digital Platform, most recently the deployment of the Family Hub to accompany the Student and Employee Hubs, and the decommissioning of the Student and Employee myNortheastern portals. Steve has helped oversee the retirement of the SAIL application and the hiring of several new d.Studio roles, including a mobile application developer, integrations developer, Outsystems developer, and an operations manager.
