Northeastern was one of seven finalists in the Teaching and Learning category. King Faisal University won the award in this area with its AR mobile applications: 3D representations of scientific content. There were also winners named in the areas of Innovation in AI, Innovation in Administrative Systems, and Innovation in K-12.

The impact of the Global Learning Space classrooms has been profound. The installation cost of each classroom has been cut in half compared to previous systems, and classroom support tickets have been reduced by 66% year-over-year. This reduction in support tickets is attributed to the less complex systems and proactive monitoring capabilities that resolve issues before they affect classroom activities.
Students have reported increased engagement and collaboration, with 88% of surveyed students agreeing that the classroom technology supported their ability to access materials effectively.
