Protect your data during Data Privacy Week 2025

This January 27-31, Northeastern is participating in Data Privacy Week, a global initiative emphasizing the importance of safeguarding personal information. The Verizon 2024 Data Breach Investigations Report shows that 68% of breaches involve a non-malicious human element, like a person falling victim to a social engineering attack or making an error. To spread awareness and help prevent such incidents, Northeastern will host a series of events, including a phishing game at Snell Library, a Data Privacy & AI discussion with experts, and a meme contest where you could win prizes. Take control of your digital privacy—get involved and stay informed.
