Cybersecurity training at Northeastern is evolving! On February 5, 2025, Northeastern University moved most cybersecurity training to Workday Learning.

What’s changing?

Workday Learning will now be the primary platform for security training courses, providing simplified access for employees. With its built-in tracking tools, managers and supervisors can easily monitor training progress and completion status, ensuring improved oversight.

What to expect next

Starting February 5, 2025, Northeastern University assigns cybersecurity training for faculty and staff through Workday Learning. However, those who don’t have Workday Learning access, including sponsored accounts and London-based employees, will continue to complete their required training using the university’s existing third-party security education platform, Proofpoint.
