Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

For the university to maintain its portfolio of government research contracts and bid on new ones, Northeastern is required to obtain Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and establish the processes, governance, and training needed to meet these requirements. As part of this effort, the Kostas Research Institute, drone lab, and Secure Data Enclave labs are seeking CMMC certification to ensure that Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) is handled in the appropriate way to maintain existing contracts and seek new opportunities.
