In the near future, when you log in to the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN, you will notice some changes. These are part of efforts to continue to strengthen security at Northeastern and streamline the user experience.
While you’ll continue to go to GlobalProtect and click ‘Connect’ as you do today, a new screen or popup that matches Northeastern’s 1Login single sign-on experience will open on your browser where you’ll enter your Northeastern credentials. Then you’ll be prompted to authenticate using your usual method.

In addition to making login simpler and easier, 1Login is expected to improve overall security for Northeastern accounts and take the university one step closer to a password-less future.
