University-Supported AI Services
While AI is already in embedded in many of the university’s supported tools and software, featured enterprise-grade services maximize productivity and efficiencies for individuals and teams on a daily basis. All use of AI services must be consistent with the university’s AI Policy and the Appropriate Use Policy.
Claude.ai
Claude is a powerful AI assistant built by Anthropic for creative work, advanced reasoning, visual analysis, and code generation. Claude for Education gives active faculty, staff, and students enterprise-level access through their Northeastern account.
Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot Chat comes with Northeastern’s Microsoft 365 license. This secure AI assistant provides insights from the web and references uploaded files and documents to help create content, summarize text and topics, and translate languages.
AI for Microsoft Teams
Teams Premium License adds AI capabilities to Microsoft Teams for faculty and staff who need advanced meeting tools. Features include AI-powered meeting notes and tasks while maintaining compliance with security protocols.
