In an effort to simplify the classroom experience for Northeastern instructors, a number of Crestron panels will be updated with a new user interface prior to the start of the spring term.
Feedback from instructors has shown that the current existing interface experiences are not as intuitive as they could be. The planned changes will help address these concerns and simplify the experience of teaching with technology at Northeastern.

In these rooms, support will be just a tap away, with the introduction of a new intuitive help button on the panel. Clicking this button during in-classroom support hours will alert an Instructional Assistant that help is needed and trigger a message when they’re on the way. Clicking it after hours will connect instructors to elevated Service Desk support.
As usual, all instructors in need of in-classroom support in Boston can email classroomITsupport@northeastern.edu. Emails should include the building name and classroom number in the subject of the email. In-classroom support is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
