Data Destruction Day
Thanks to your participation, Information Technology Services, the Office of Information Security, and vendor A1 Datashred were able to safely, securely, and sustainably destroy 391 hard drives on top of a truckload of old, data-bearing devices and paper files that were hauled away for secure disposal. Bruce Waterbury, from the Office of Information Security, hosted a panel with security experts Alan Mislove, Christo Wilson, Ada Lerner, David Choffnes, and John Clarke in a fascinating discussion about online privacy.
