The path forward for more modern and secure accounts  

Northeastern online accounts and the university’s single sign-on are IT services on which everybody in the university community relies on a nearly daily basis. ITS has embarked on a multi-year journey to realize a new accounts and access security model in which everybody at Northeastern has access to what they need, when they need it, frictionlessly. Tech Tips to improve your Global Learning Space experience

Wrap up the term with this Canvas checklist 

At the end of each term, plan to review the information in your Canvas courses, including checking that students have the appropriate level of access to the Canvas course moving forward. This checklist will help you wrap up your Canvas course at the end of the term and ensure a smooth setup process when you next teach the course.

Thank you for participating in Cybersecurity Awareness Month 

Every year, October is dedicated to cybersecurity initiatives in an effort to make the Northeastern community more aware of the various threats that exist in the digital world. Topics like artificial intelligence, phishing, and cyber hygiene were covered throughout the four weeks to help you practice safe and secure habits. Before booking your next travel, book a Concur Travel training 

As shared last month, Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) booking for university travel is now live within Concur. The Procure to Pay Operations team and CBT have been offering live virtual walkthroughs on how to use the new Concur Travel tool, with the next one scheduled for Dec. 6.
