Hello!

In the latest issue of Tech Update, learn about the rollout of the new Family Hub as well as the importance of regularly updating your devices’ operating system.

In case you missed any, you can browse all past issues of the Update on the ITS website. You can also now submit tips and success stories that you’d like to share in future updates, through the Share IT! feature that you can read about below.

As a reminder, the IT Service Desk is just a call, email, or chat away for technology support. Or take advantage of the self-service options at service.northeastern.edu/tech

Cheers!

The Family Hub is here

Parents and families now have a new way to navigate the university and support you on your Northeastern journey. The Family Hub, which replaces and expands upon the Parent Portal, can allow family members of undergraduates to view student account information such as course schedules and transcripts, pay tuition bills, and add funds to a Husky account. Families can sign in to the Hub using the same login used for the Parent Portal, or their undergraduate students can grant and manage their access to the Family Hub with a family account.

Duo end-of-life support

Duo, the university’s two-factor authentication service, recently stopped providing Android 10 and iOS14 operating systems the ability to download the Duo app. If your device is impacted and you cannot download Duo, there are other ways to authenticate your account.
