Wish there was a better way to easily collaborate, find, and share content without switching applications? Now there is: Microsoft Loop.
Loop allows you to easily collaborate with others in shared workspaces. Manage tasks and projects synced across Microsoft 365 in one workspace and break down content into dynamic components to stay in sync with changes without switching apps.
Loop is made up of:
- Workspaces that assemble everything you need for your projects or teams in one place. You can create workspaces for each of your projects.

- Pages that serve as flexible canvases in the Loop app where you can bring together people and all your components, links, tasks, and data. You can organize pages in workspaces and share them across Microsoft 365 apps as a link or as dynamic Loop components.

- Components to easily share portable pieces of content such as lists, tables, and notes across Microsoft 365 apps and stay in sync no matter where changes are made. The best part? You don’t need to use the Microsoft Loop app to start using Loop components. They’re already integrated into apps you already use, like Outlook and Teams!

Loop and copilot
Loop continues to evolve to work with more apps and services, including Microsoft Copilot. This artificial intelligence (AI) powered productivity tool works alongside popular Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Loop, and more. Please note that while eligibility for higher education customers was announced in January, Microsoft Copilot is not yet available at Northeastern University and is currently being vetted by IT Services.
